Apple has made several backwards incompatible changes since iOS 13 that have resulted in compatibility issues with Paprika 2. Therefore, Paprika 2 should only be used with devices that are running iOS 12 or earlier.
In particular, there have been issues reported under iOS 13 with:
- Lockups when emailing and printing recipes.
- The inability to copy and paste text from the browser.
There have been further issues reported under iOS 15 with:
- The inability to scroll the recipe screen to view the full recipe.
Paprika 2 was originally released over ten years ago and is no longer being developed or supported and is not compatible with recent versions of iOS. If you have upgraded your device to iOS 13 (or later), you will also need to upgrade to Paprika 3 in order to maintain compatibility with iOS.
Please note that Paprika 3 is sold separately from Paprika 2 and would need to be purchased from the App Store. Once you have installed Paprika 3 you will be able to sync your data over by logging into your Paprika account under Settings -> Cloud Sync.
Update (October 2022)
We have received multiple reports that Paprika 2 will not run at all on iOS 16. If you intend to upgrade your device to iOS 16 or later you will need to also upgrade to Paprika 3.
If you have already upgraded your device to iOS 16 prior to transferring your recipes to Paprika 3, please follow the guide here.
