Paprika 4 introduces cross-platform family sharing as part of our premium subscription option (currently free during the beta testing period).
You can invite other members of your family or household to join your Paprika account. After they accept your invitation, they can create their own Paprika account with their own email address and password, and their account will be added as a sub-account of your account.
All of the data in your Paprika account is shared with sub-accounts: recipes, categories, grocery lists, pantry items, menus, the meal calendar, bookmarks, cookbooks, etc. This allows you to easily share all of the data in your account with your spouse or other household members.
Because sub-accounts are considered part of your subscription, family members that have joined your account can download and use Paprika on all of our platforms without having to purchase the app separately for themselves.
How to add a family member to your account:
- From the main menu, tap on Sharing and then click on the Family tab at the top.
- Press the Invite button in the upper-right corner of the toolbar.
- Enter in the email address of the person you would like to invite.
- We will send them an invitation email they can use to register their own Paprika account.
- Once they have downloaded Paprika to their own devices and logged into their account, they will see the same data you see inside their app.
Note: To avoid conflicts with existing data, the email address you send the invite to cannot already have their own registered Paprika account. If the invitee wants to use an email address associated with an existing Paprika account, they can first change the email address of the current account to free up that email address in our system.
